Today, Independent U.S. Senate Candidate Dan Osborn released the following statement regarding the Trump Administration federally downgrading the schedule of medical marijuana:
“Reclassifying medical marijuana is long overdue. This is a victory for every veteran treating post-traumatic stress or chronic pain, every parent looking to treat their child’s seizure disorder, and everyone who believes in medical freedom.
“It’s insane that Pete Ricketts is still against medical marijuana, which hurts nobody except his friends in Big Pharma.
“Medical marijuana and hemp would be an economic lifeline to Nebraska farmers and residents while generating millions of dollars in tax revenue. Why is Pete Ricketts so against this?”
