A man and a woman from Baltimore are facing felony charges after they were caught at Washington Dulles International Airport trying to smuggle more than 57 pounds of marijuana on a flight to London, according to U.S. Customs and Border Protection.
Carl Caran Raashad Henson, 31, and Tilesha Kelly Theresa Coles, 31, were both arrested on April 16.

Investigators said they were inspecting luggage that was being loaded onto a flight headed for London when they discovered several black, vacuum-sealed bags. Officers said they found 57 pounds and 6 ounces of marijuana inside the bags.
The pair was turned over to the Washington Airports Authority Police. They both face charges of possession of controlled substances, transport into the Commonwealth with intent to distribute greater than five pounds of marijuana, and conspiracy to commit drug offenses.
CBP has also made similar seizures at Baltimore-Washington International (BWI) Thurgood Marshall Airport, also on London-bound flights. In all, 247 pounds of marijuana have been seized at that airport.
Investigators have said whether any of the incidents are connected.
