ST. LOUIS — Two Missouri cannabis wholesalers have filed a proposed class-action lawsuit alleging that a group of marijuana companies led by Good Day Farm conspired to control the state’s cannabis market, suppress competition and depress wholesale prices.
The lawsuit, filed April 28 in Jackson County Circuit Court, accuses dozens of cannabis operators and executives of forming an illegal “cartel” that dominates Missouri’s retail dispensary market and dictates purchasing terms for independent wholesalers.
Good Day Farm had no immediate comment.
Plaintiffs CPC of Missouri – Smithville LLC and GF Saint Mary LLC, which operates as VIBE Cannabis, claim the defendants coordinated to fix prices, limit product availability and boycott wholesalers that refused to comply with their demands. The suit seeks damages and injunctive relief and is proposed as a class action on behalf of similarly situated cannabis wholesalers statewide.
