A man was arrested following a traffic stop that led to the seizure of illegal drugs, according to the Bedford County Sheriff's Office.
On Thursday, April 30, law enforcement conducted a traffic stop in the Stewartsville area of Bedford County. Authorities say the driver, identified as Garrett Belcher, was found in possession of "large amounts of marijuana."

The sheriff's office says items seized during the stop included his vehicle, 33 pounds of marijuana, 2.5 pounds of THC wax and $8,769.

Officials say Belcher was charged with the following:
The traffic stop was conducted by members of the BCSO Community Action Team and James River Regional Drug Task Force.
