Narcotics officer finding drugs in a suitcase
Last week, Dallas police officers arrested a woman traveling through Love Field after narcotics detectives found she was stowing 75 pounds of marijuana in her three suitcases.
According to NBC DFW, one of Jennifer Manzanares-Herrera’s bags broke open, exposing the large amount of drugs.
The 25-year-old Manzanares-Herrera was traveling from Las Vegas back to North Texas when the drugs were discovered.
She now faces a charge of possession of between 50 and 2,000 pounds of marijuana, a second-degree felony.
