PULASKI COUNTY, Ga. — Pulaski County deputies recovered nearly 50 pounds of marijuana during a traffic stop, according to a Facebook post from the Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office.
The sheriff’s office says a deputy stopped a car for a traffic violation, and smelled marijuana as he approached. After searching the car, he found approximately 48.6 pounds of suspected marijuana in sealed plastic bags, according to the sheriff’s office.
The driver, a 45-year-old Atlanta man, was arrested and charged with trafficking marijuana, per the sheriff’s office.
He has been booked into the Pulaski County Jail.
