Burlington, N.C. — Burlington police arrested an 18-year-old after officers said they saw him conducting apparent drug transactions at the Tucker Street Apartments.
Police identified the suspect as Malcolm Dupree Odom Jr. Friday. Officers said an investigation into Odom’s actions led to the discovery of a concealed handgun and marijuana in his possession.
Odom was arrested and charged with resist, delay and obstruct; felony possession with intent to sell and deliver marijuana; and carrying a concealed handgun.
He was transported to the Alamance County Jail and initially held under a $10,000 secured bond. Odom has since been released from custody on a $500 secured bond.
