A medical marijuana dispensary has opened in Manheim Township after renovations to what was formerly a Friendly’s restaurant.
Terra Pharm, a new company that’s planning to open several dispensaries across the state, opened its third Pennsylvania location last week at 1521 Oregon Pike. The 3,400-square foot building was a Friendly’s that closed in October 2024.
In Pennsylvania, medical marijuana dispensaries can sell cannabis products to people with qualifying physical or mental health conditions who have been issued a medical marijuana card. The Terra Pharm medical marijuana dispensary on Oregon Pike is the eighth such dispensary in Lancaster County. Most of the others are clustered in Lancaster city and surrounding municipalities.
Some of the owners of Terra Pharm are also owners of Organic Remedies, a company that operates six medical marijuana dispensaries in Pennsylvania, including one in York.
