Deputies say fentanyl, gun found in car during traffic stop – WYFF News 4

Deputies in Jackson County, North Carolina, have charged a man after he was found to have multiple grams of fentanyl, marijuana, and methamphetamine in his vehicle.
The Jackson County Sheriff’s Office said that deputies were in the area of East Main Street on Monday when they saw a car that was known to be driven by Jesus Eduardo Diaz sitting in a parking lot.
Deputies say Diaz had an outstanding warrant as well as a revoked license, so when deputies watched him get into the car and drive away, they initiated a traffic stop.
Upon searching the car, deputies say they found approximately 9 grams of suspected fentanyl, 10 grams of suspected marijuana, 1 gram of suspected methamphetamine, Glock 43X 9mm, various items of paraphernalia and $588 in U.S. currency.

Diaz is currently in the Jackson County Detention Center with no bond.
