Four people were arrested after Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics agents served search warrants at five properties tied to an alleged black-market marijuana trafficking operation in the Tulsa area, authorities said.
The Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics said its Marijuana Enforcement Teams carried out the coordinated operation Wednesday as part of an ongoing investigation into what agents described as a drug trafficking organization illegally distributing marijuana in Oklahoma and outside the state.
Search warrants were served at three homes, a marijuana dispensary warehouse in Tulsa County and a grow facility in Muskogee County, according to OBN. The grow operation was identified as Bloom Brothers Planters LLC in Fort Gibson.
Agents seized 16,450 marijuana plants and 1,320 pounds of processed marijuana, OBN said.
Authorities said four alleged members of the organization were arrested, and additional arrests are expected.
Multiple agencies assisted in the operation, including Homeland Security Investigations and several local law enforcement agencies.
