All of the occupants were removed from the vehicle, and while in the process of investigating, officers reportedly detected the odor of marijuana coming from inside.
This prompted further investigation, and the report states that officers searched the vehicle and located a loaded handgun, more than 46 grams of green plant material that tested presumptive positive for marijuana and a digital scale.
The firearm reportedly was revealed to belong to Anthony, and he was taken into custody and transported to the Al Cannon Detention Center.
