Illinois, omnibus, possession limits
The Illinois House and Senate have passed SB 3222, which would make several changes to Illinois’ cannabis and hemp laws, including doubling cannabis possession limits. The bill now heads to Gov. J.B. Pritzker for his consideration.
Under SB 3222, Illinois residents could possess up to 60 grams of flower, 10 grams of concentrates, and infused products with up to 1,000 mg of THC. All of these are double the current limits. Non-residents’ limits would also be doubled, to up to 30 grams of flower, five grams of concentrate, and infused products with up to 500 milligrams of THC.
