LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — A former Okolona restaurant will soon be serving up something besides food.
According to a permit filed with the city, Green Releaf Dispensary is planning to renovate the former Wendy’s restaurant at 2800 Packerland Way, off Fern Valley Road, into a dispensary, as reported by our partners at Louisville Business First.
The renovation is expected to cost $335,000 for the 2,790-square-foot former fast-food restaurant that closed in 2024. LBF reports Green Releaf bought the site last week for $975,000.
Green Releaf operates 13 locations across Illinois, Missouri, Ohio, and Kentucky, with stores in Elizabethtown and Ferguson.
No opening date has been set for the Louisville dispensary.
