HALIFAX COUNTY, N.C. (WITN) – A Durham man is facing charges after deputies say they found drugs and guns during a traffic stop in Halifax County.
Halifax County deputies say they pulled over 25-year-old Tyreek Lloyd for a violation around 7:30 p.m. on Thursday on Main Street in Scotland Neck.
Deputies say Lloyd and one of his passengers had an outstanding arrest warrant for traffic violations.
A deputy searched the car and found a rifle, two pistols, fentanyl pills and marijuana, according to officials.
Lloyd was arrested and charged with driving while license revoked, possession of a Schedule II controlled substance and simple possession of marijuana.
Lloyd was taken to the Halifax County Jail and was denied bond due to pending charges.
