An inmate at the Floyd County Prison, Tristan Dominic Monfort, 28 of Griffin, was arrested after reports said he was found with methamphetamine.
Reports said that Monfort was found with 13 packets of methamphetamine, weighing a total of 14.27 grams. Officers said that they also found 7.48 grams of marijuana in his possession. The drugs were reportedly found in Monfort’s socks in his cell.
Montfort is charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of meth with intent to distribute, possession of marijuana and items prohibited by an inmate.
