Two arrested in Boaz drug bust; meth, marijuana, cocaine seized – rocketcitynow.com

BOAZ, Ala. — Two people were arrested and a significant cache of illegal narcotics was seized following a multi-agency investigation in Marshall County earlier this month, authorities announced.
The Marshall County Drug Task Force, in coordination with the Boaz Police Department and the Alabama State Bureau of Investigation Region F Narcotics, executed a search warrant at a residence in Boaz.
During the search, agents recovered evidence indicative of large-scale drug distribution. The seized items included:
Approximately five pounds of methamphetamine
Approximately one pound of marijuana
Approximately three ounces of cocaine
Drug paraphernalia and electronic devices
Kenneth Wayne Reed was arrested and charged with drug trafficking. Hannah Grace Moore was arrested and charged with conspiracy of drug trafficking.
Both individuals were taken into custody without incident and booked into the Marshall County Jail.
The Marshall County Drug Enforcement Unit stated that the investigation remains ongoing and noted that additional charges or arrests may be forthcoming.
“The Marshall County Drug Task Force continues to work in cooperation with partner agencies to combat illegal drug activity and protect the safety of the community,” the department said in a release.
Under U.S. law, all suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
