KCIA also confirmed that Kentucky dispensaries are expected to have the state’s first medical cannabis gummies available to patients as early as next week, pending final inventory deliveries and regulatory requirements.
Edible products represent one of the most anticipated product categories for patients seeking vapor-free treatment options.
According to KCIA, the state’s medical cannabis program allows qualified patients to access state-regulated, lab-tested products for conditions including cancer, chronic pain, PTSD, epilepsy, and other approved diagnoses.
Additional dispensary, processor, and cultivation openings are expected in the coming weeks as licensees complete final inspections and approvals.
