Trash Bags Filled With Over 400 Pounds Of Marijuana Found Along Colorado Road – National Enquirer

Authorities in Colorado found several trash bags on the side of the road filled with more than 400 pounds of marijuana, the second such discovery in six months.
The Weld County Sheriff’s Office said deputies responded to a “suspicious incident” on the 15000 block of Weld County Road 6 shortly after 3:30 p.m. on Feb. 13. The complainant reported that several trash bags had been “dumped” in front of his property.
Deputies arrived to find the suspicious trash bags contained “suspected marijuana leaves.” The complainant told deputies there were more mysterious trash bags west of the property. Deputies drive west on Weld County Road 6 and located six more trash bags filled with marijuana.
The suspected marijuana was “left in a secure area to dry” before it was bagged, weighed, and booked into evidence. The sheriff’s office said the bags contained a total of 427 pounds. The contents are now “set for destruction.”
The sheriff’s office said a similar incident occurred in August 2025, in the area of Weld County Road 20 and Colorado Boulevard.
