YUBA CITY, Calif. — On Wednesday, the Yuba City Police Department dismantled a major illegal indoor marijuana grow operation in Yuba City. The YCPD officers executed a search warrant on Butte House Road after citizen complaints.
Officer Cornwell led the investigation with support from the YCPD Investigative Unit and NET-5. Officers found a complex operation spread across three shops on the property. They seized 1,725 marijuana plants, weighing 640 pounds.
Two locals, 59-year-olds Aiyung Hu and Wenhua Xiao, were cited for illegal cultivation and released.
