Organizers of a national marijuana study are recruiting Arizona adults planning to soon start using cannabis to treat a medical condition.
Sasha Kalcheff-Korn is executive director of Realm of Care, which was tapped by Johns Hopkins University researchers to coordinate project data.
“We’re recruiting people from Arizona because Arizona has a robust medicinal space. They have allowances for veterans, which is great. It’s not necessarily seen in a lot of states,” she said.
Participant progress in the observational study will be tracked over a year Organizers are hoping to learn about the conditions people are seeking help from cannabis for.
