MADISONVILLE, Ky. (WFIE) – Madisonville Police Department officials say a man is still in jail on several charges after a chase with police on Friday where two of the suspects bonded out.

According to a police report, officers saw a vehicle on I-69 changing lanes quickly without using a turn signal.
When they initiated a traffic stop, the vehicle abruptly stopped in the left-hand lane, forcing all vehicles to come to a stop.
The driver, later identified as Ronzay Buckner, rolled the passenger window down and threw his hands in the air.
Officials say police told him to pull in front of the police cruiser onto the shoulder. At this time, Buckner rolled the window up, went in front of my patrol vehicle onto the shoulder, traveling southbound in the northbound lane.
There were vehicles that stopped and were moving so that the vehicle did not collide with them.
Officers say they turned their cruiser around to follow Buckner and at this time the black Hyundai entered a large grass area at the 111 on ramp and re-entered I-69.
They say Buckner was attempting to drive away from the traffic stop.
He started throwing things, later identified as marijuana, out of the driver and passenger side of the vehicle.
Buckner eventually lost control of the vehicle near Henderson came to a stop after getting stuck in the mud.
Police say he tried to run but they eventually caught up to him and placed him under arrest.
Officials say Buckner admitted that he had been smoking marijuana before driving.
According to police, there were two passengers in the vehicle identified as Aaviyona Jolley and Anthony Samuel.
Both passengers denied having thrown marijuana from the vehicle.
A search was conducted and marijuana was scattered throughout the vehicle on both in the front and back seat areas.
They also found marijuana inside Jolley’s purse.
Jolley and Samuel were arrested and booked on Tampering with Physical Evident but later posted bond.
Buckner arrested and booked into the Hopkins County Jail and faces the following charges:
