Anthropic is the third major AI company to be linked to a hyperscale data center project in Southeast Michigan. Google is the end-user behind a proposed 800,000-square-foot, 1-gigawatt data center in Van Buren Township and OpenAI is behind Oracle’s huge data center in Saline Township.
