BERTIE COUNTY, N.C. (WITN) – A Windsor man is facing nearly 20 charges following a 16-month drug investigation in Bertie County.
Bertie County deputies arrested 55-year-old Anthony Lassiter today.
The investigation into drug activity near Jack Branch Road began in January 2025.
Deputies searched a home on Vance Lane today, where several people were taken into custody.
The Bertie County Sheriff’s Office says a little under an ounce of cocaine, 29 ounces of marijuana, two handguns, ammunition, and $6,093 in cash were seized.

He was placed in jail on a $100,000 secured bond. The others were released, according to deputies.
