CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) — The Charleston Police Department arrested a man on Friday after an investigation led to drug charges.
Leon Horlbeck-Campbell, 27, was charged with five counts of trafficking cocaine, trafficking cocaine base and possession with intent to distribute marijuana, according to police.
An investigation began several months ago after investigators received information that Horlbeck-Campbell had been selling drugs in downtown Charleston.
Detectives executed a search warrant on Wednesday at a residence in the MAA Westchase Apartments, and seized cocaine, cocaine base, marijuana and several thousand dollars in cash.
Horlbeck-Campbell was under SC Probation, Parole and Pardon Services for a previous drug offense when he was arrested.
He is in custody at the Al Cannon Detention Center.
