Authorities seized over 2,000 marijuana plants with a street value of more than $1 million Wednesday at a house in Eastvale authorities said had been converted into an illegal indoor marijuana grow storehouse.
Deputies assigned to the Jurupa Valley Sheriff’s Station and Special Enforcement Team executed a search warrant at 4:17 p.m. Wednesday in the 6700 block of Leanne Street, north of 68th Street, adjacent to Interstate 15, according to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Office.

Eastvale Code Enforcement Team and Southern California Edison personnel also responded to the house, where a separate investigation was conducted by Code Enforcement officials who identified multiple building violations associated with the property, including $145,000 in utility theft, according to the sheriff’s office.
Detectives were following leads in an attempt to identify the suspect.
