VINTON, Texas (KFOX14/CBS4) — Deputies said they found a marijuana joint and vape, a cold beer and a gun when they arrested El Paso radio personality Buzz Adams for drunk driving.
On Jan. 10, Buzz Adams, whose real name is Michael Earl Witt, was arrested for allegedly driving drunk, possession and unlawful carrying of a weapon.

According to the arrest report, deputies described finding:
The report describes that Witt was pulled over at the 300 block of West Vinton Road after deputies noticed the black Cadillac he was driving didn't have a license plate in the front.
During the traffic stop, the deputy said he first noticed the smell of burnt marijuana before noticing the vape resting on the driver's door handle.
According to the report, when the deputy asked Witt what kind of vape was that, Witt reportedly responded "tobacco," to which the deputy replied, "Tobacco vape pens don't have Marijuana leaf plants on them."
Witt was then asked to step out of the Cadillac as deputies searched it and found the aforementioned objects.
The report then described that deputies described that they could smell alcohol and Witt and he reportedly failed a sobriety test and refused to provide blood.

According to jail records, Witt was released the next day, Jan. 11.
