At about 9:45 a.m. Friday, police were called to a reported stabbing at the dispensary, in the 2100 block of South Broadway.
Investigators learned that a domestic-related “altercation” between 24-year-old Telah Jackson, who worked at the store, and a 25-year-old man had occurred and escalated into a stabbing. Police said the man was the father of Jackson’s children.
Police arrived at the dispensary within two minutes and found the man standing “just inside the door” of the dispensary. He was arrested without incident, officials said.
Jackson was found inside the business with multiple stab wounds. She was taken to OU Medical Center, where she later died.
“It was a very vicious attack,” Emily Ward with the Edmond Police Department said. “She received multiple, numerous stab wounds.”
Crime scene tape surrounded the entrance to the dispensary on South Broadway Friday morning as police investigated the domestic-related altercation.
