WATERVILLE (WGME) – The state says it found several medical cannabis concentrate products sold in a Maine store contained high levels of pesticides, and a woman says it made her sick.
The Office of Cannabis Policy in Maine says it received a complaint this month of a bad reaction to pot purchased from Marijuanaville in Waterville.

The office says testing showed "unsafe levels" of pesticides, and test results for five out of six batches showed varying unsafe levels of several other pesticides.
The woman says she made the complaint after becoming extremely sick from some of those products.
“I just really wish that we can push for all marijuana products to be tested,” Chasity Thibeau, who says she was sickened by the marijuana, said. “You know, if we're using them for medicinal purposes, they should be medicinal. They shouldn't cause us more issues by going and putting us in the hospital."

The owner of Marijuanaville says he's taking all of the products off the shelves that contained pesticides and testing all of his products at his own expense.
