President Donald Trump recently signed an executive order reclassifying marijuana, making marijuana no longer a Schedule I drug, USA Today reported.
At the federal level, marijuana is now classified as a Schedule III drug, meaning the substance has a moderate to low potential for physical and psychological dependence, according to the Drug Enforcement Administration.
