A Cave Spring teen is facing charges after police found two pounds of marijuana in his vehicle following a traffic stop on Ga. 53 at Bagwell Road Tuesday night for missing tag lights, reports state.
According to Floyd County Jail reports:
William Dakota Bramlett, 19, is charged with felony possession of marijuana with intent to distribute and possession of marijuana as well as misdemeanor driving without tag lights.
He remained in jail on $5,000 bond as of Wednesday.
A Shannon couple was arrested Tuesday for “failing to provide a safe and clean living environment” for the victim, at their home on First Street in Shannon, reports state.
According to jail reports:
Jeremy Ladale Broach, 48, and Casey Lynette Ingle, 47, are charged with felony cruelty to children. Their home was in deplorable condition, with “animal feces and other bodily fluids on the floors throughout the home.”
The entire home was also infested with insects. According to reports, the pair failed to follow up on treatment for the child’s chronic head lice problem.
A Rome man was arrested Tuesday night on Shorter Avenue for cocaine possession after a traffic stop for driving without headlights, reports state.
According to jail reports:
James Edward McDearmont III, 48, is charged with felony possession of cocaine with intent to distribute, possession of cocaine, as well as misdemeanor possession of marijuana and driving without headlights.
He was found with 15 grams of cocaine, which is more than a single user’s amount, according to reports. He remained in jail without bond as of Wednesday.
A Floyd County man was arrested Tuesday for harvesting several deer, including a 7-point and an 8-point buck, out of season and without a permit, reports state.
According to jail reports:
Daniel Scott Roche, 53, is charged with theft by taking wildlife, hunting without a permit and taking over the season limit of antlered deer.
An Alabama teen was arrested Tuesday night on Walker Mountain Road for possession of marijuana and Percocet, reports state.
According to jail reports:
Anna Grace Cook, 19, is charged with felony possession of Percocet and misdemeanor possession of marijuana. She remained in jail on $3,500 bond as of Wednesday.
