HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – Hawaii Island police arrested an Ocean View man after executing a search warrant at an alleged marijuana grow operation.
On Dec. 17, officers with the Hawaii Police Department’s Vice Division searched a home on Jasmine Drive.
Police say the residence was unoccupied when they conducted the search.
Officers recovered almost 400 marijuana plants, 364 pounds of processed marijuana, nearly 20,000 grams of marijuana concentrate, 1.2 grams of cocaine, and four firearms, according to police records.
The estimated street value of the recovered narcotics came out to about $1,437,630.
Police also seized more than $14,600 in cash, a white Ford Power stroke F-350 truck valued at $40,000, and a Honda utility vehicle valued at $16,000.
As a result of the search and their ongoing investigation, Vice officers arrested Jordin Trevena-Garon, 42, of Ocean View, on Monday, Jan. 5.
Trevena-Garon was charged with the following offenses:
Trevena-Garon’s bail was set at $505,000.
He made his initial court appearance on Tuesday.
