Oxnard man arrested on suspicion of selling pot to minors – Ventura County Star

An Oxnard man was arrested on Feb. 17 on suspicion of selling marijuana to minors across Ventura County, authorities said.
Detectives with the Ventura County Sheriff’s Office launched an investigation after finding evidence of illicit marijuana sales to minors in the city of Camarillo in October, according to a sheriff’s office news release.
During the investigation, detectives found evidence that helped identify the 18-year-old Oxnard man as the person responsible for the sale of drugs to minors throughout the county, the sheriff’s office said.
On Feb. 17, at around 7 a.m. detectives conducted a warranted search of the man’s home in the 600 block of East Yucca Street and found additional evidence linking the man to the drug sales, sheriff’s officials said.
The man was arrested on suspicion of felony furnishing marijuana to minors over the age of 14, jail records show. He was booked into Ventura County jail with bail set at $50,000.
He is scheduled to appear in Ventura County Superior Court on Feb. 19, records show.
