ASHEBORO, N.C. — A search warrant executed at a residence on Roman Road in Asheboro led to the seizure of about nine pounds of marijuana, U.S. currency and a firearm, and the arrests of two people, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office said.
On May 4, 2026, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office Vice Narcotics Enforcement Team, along with the Vice Narcotics Unit, executed the warrant at the home. During the search, detectives located and seized approximately nine pounds of marijuana, U.S. currency and a firearm.
Justin Ryan Taylor, 28, and Mikayla Sue Kearns were arrested and transported to the Randolph County Detention Center.

She received a $10,000 secured bond.
A first appearance for both defendants is scheduled for May 5, 2026, in Randolph County District Court.
