Eight people, including a suspected fentanyl dealer, were arrested during a raid that uncovered a staggering cache of illegal drugs in Florida.
The Hernando County Sheriff's Office said that on April 10, detectives from the Vice and Narcotics Unit, along with the Special Intelligence Unit, executed a search warrant at a home on Fruitville Street in Spring Hill.
According to the report, this action was prompted by numerous complaints about excessive vehicle and foot traffic at the location, indicating potential illegal narcotics activity.
During the investigation, authorities identified 54-year-old Jason Russell Klier as the primary suspect, allegedly involved in selling large amounts of fentanyl from the property.
When the search warrant was executed, detectives reported finding 10 people on the premises, including some inside the house and a camper in the backyard.
The report states that the search yielded a significant amount of illegal drugs, including approximately 65.7 grams of methamphetamine, 21.3 grams of fentanyl, 0.2 grams of oxycodone, 3.9 grams of alprazolam, also known as Xanax, 1.1 grams of marijuana, and around 44.6 grams of a liquid believed to be a testosterone supplement, which will undergo further testing.
Klier allegedly admitted to owning the fentanyl and claimed he was selling it to fund his own drug habits. His girlfriend, 38-year-old Danielle Harris, also reportedly asserted ownership of a large portion of the methamphetamine found during the search.

In addition to Klier and Harris, six other individuals were arrested on drug-related charges. These individuals were either present to use narcotics or had smaller quantities of illegal substances in their possession. One person was arrested on an unrelated active warrant.
Here's a summary of the charges:
Officials said Klier and Harris are being held without bond due to the serious nature of the charges. The others received bonds according to the county's schedule.
Officials are urging anyone with information regarding this case to contact Hernando County Crime Stoppers at 1-866-990-TIPS (8477) or submit tips anonymously online, potentially earning a reward of up to $5,000.
