BURLINGTON, N.C. — Burlington police say an April 2026 investigation into suspected drug activity at a home on Lacy Street led to the seizure of methamphetamine, fentanyl and marijuana, resulting in the arrests of seven people.
The Burlington Police Department said it obtained information about drug activity on Lacy St. As a result of the investigation, authorities executed a search warrant at the location. During the search, officers seized multiple controlled substances, including methamphetamine, fentanyl and marijuana.
Police said the following people were arrested and charged:
Robert Allen Hatchel, a 50-year-old man, was charged with possession with intent to sell Schedule II, possession of Schedule II, manufacture, sell, deliver a controlled substance within 1,000 feet of a school, and maintaining a dwelling for controlled substances.
Kelly Eugene Hoggard, a 40-year-old man, was charged with manufacture, sell, deliver a controlled substance within 1,000 feet of a school, possession of Schedule II, obstructing justice, and resisting a public officer.
Christie Lynn Sharpe, a 47-year-old woman, was charged with possession of Schedule II, manufacture, sell, deliver a controlled substance within 1,000 feet of a school, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Misty Dawn Eastwood, a 40-year-old woman, was charged with two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia.
Richard Gaddy, a 53-year-old man, was charged with manufacture, sell, deliver a controlled substance within 1,000 feet of a school and simple possession of a Schedule II controlled substance.
Guillermo Reyes-Martinez, a 32-year-old man, was charged with manufacture, sell, deliver a controlled substance within 1,000 feet of a school, simple possession of Schedule VI, and maintaining a dwelling for controlled substances.
Joseph Gordon Coffman, a 66-year-old man, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.
Police said no bond information was available.
