PIKE COUNTY, Ind. (WFIE) – Authorities in Pike County now have a man under arrest, after they say, they found illegal drugs during a traffic stop.
Just before 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, An Indiana State Police trooper stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation at 7th Street in Petersburg.
Authorities say the driver, 45-year-old Joshua Kinman, was arrested after he was found to be a habitual traffic violator.
Police say the trooper recognized several indicators of criminal activity, and searched the vehicle. The trooper found methamphetamine, marijuana and other drug paraphernalia inside.
Kinman was taken to the Pike County Jail on charges of: Possession of Methamphetamine and Marijuana, Driving While HTV and Possession of Paraphernalia.
