JASPER — A Jasper woman was arrested Thursday night after a traffic stop on FM 2799 led deputies to morphine and marijuana, according to authorities.
A Jasper County Deputy initiated a traffic stop on FM 2799. On April 24, at about 7:58 p.m. Authorities said consent was given to search the vehicle and personal belongings.
Brittani Bordelon, 45, of Jasper, was found to be in possession of morphine and marijuana, authorities said. Bordelon was arrested for possession of a controlled substance PG1 more than 1 gram but less than 4 grams, a third-degree felony, and possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces, a Class B misdemeanor.
Authorities said Bordelon was transported to the Jasper County Jail.
Bordelon is presumed innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law.
