ALPINE, Texas (KOSA) – Border Patrol agents seized more than 44 pounds of marijuana hidden inside tires at a checkpoint.
According to U.S. Border Patrol Big Bend Sector, Alpine Station agents were performing inspections on cars at a checkpoint when a K-9 alerted agents to tires in a truck.
After further investigation, agents found the marijuana hidden inside the tires.
The drugs were valued at over $35,000.
