Darweesh and others were charged last summer after raids on VIP Smoke Shops in several neighborhoods, including Middletown, Lebanon, Mason, Blanchester, and Springboro.
Warren County Prosecutor David Fornshell said the employees were selling drugs to teens from behind the counter. Complaints from parents and school leaders in Warren County sparked the investigation.
