MAY CITY—A 45-year-old May City woman was arrested about 11:20 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 24, on Osceola County warrants for possession of a controlled substance — methamphetamine — third or subsequent offense, possession of a controlled substance — marijuana — third or subsequent offense and possession of drug paraphernalia.
The arrest of Jemicia Nicole Mitchell stemmed from deputies executing a search warrant about 1 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 10, at her residence of 6660 Aldrid Ave. in May City, according to the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies located several drug-related items in Mitchell’s bedroom, including a plate with a razor blade containing a crystalline substance that field-tested positive for methamphetamine; a used glass pipe commonly used to ingest meth; a THC vape and a jar containing plant material consistent with marijuana, which field-tested positive for THC, according to the incident report.
