MOORHEAD — A “Higher Learning” event to educate the public on the benefits of different types of cannabis products is planned for 6:30 p.m. May 17 at Unwind Dispensary, 3505 8th St. S. Unit 5.
“Cannabis as a whole has a lot of stigma associated with it, so naturally the community may have questions or concerns,” wrote Unwind owner Teresa Sorenson in an email to The Forum. “We want to address it and also provide people a platform to ask any questions they may have regarding beginner use of the products!”

Recreational marijuana was legalized in Minnesota in 2023. The first cannabis shop opened in Moorhead in 2025.
