NEBRASKA — Nebraskans for Medical Marijuana (NMM) will be going on a second round of statewide town hall listening tours, with stops in Scottsbluff, Blair, and Falls City. These town halls will explain the current state of Nebraska’s medical cannabis program, what patients and families need to know, and how ongoing legislative and regulatory decisions may affect access.
Patients, caregivers, healthcare professionals, law enforcement, and community members are encouraged to attend, ask questions, and stay engaged on an issue that matters deeply to Nebraskans.
“Nebraskans voted clearly in support of medical cannabis, but many questions remain about implementation, access, and patient protections,” said NMM Executive Director Crista Eggers. “These town halls are about education, transparency, and accountability; and about reminding decision-makers that Nebraskans already spoke at the ballot box, and we will not be silent while that voice is ignored.”
Townhall Tour Schedule:
Scottsbluff — Monday, May 4th — 6:30-8:00pm MT — Scottsbluff Public Library
Blair — Tuesday, May 5th — 6:30-7:30pm CT — Blair Public Library
Falls City — Wednesday, May 6th — 6:30-7:30pm CT — Smiley Bee
