Two illegal marijuana growing operations were dismantled, and the destruction of over 3,000 plants on Sunday in Mariposa County.
The Mariposa County Marijuana Enforcement Team served search warrants at two properties on Hirsch Road and Old Yosemite Road.
The investigation resulted in the eradication of 3,173 illegal marijuana plants, the seizure of seven firearms, and the recovery of a small amount of methamphetamine.

Mariposa County Sheriff's Office said the operations were not small personal grows but could be connected to cartel-style drug trafficking organizations that operate outside the law.
