PICAYUNE – Two people were arrested after a narcotics search warrant was executed at a residence in Picayune, according to the Pearl River County Sheriff’s Department.
The sheriff’s department said its Narcotics Division, with help from the Patrol Division, served the warrant April 29 at a home on Cabin Drive.
During the search, investigators seized what authorities described as a large quantity of suspected marijuana, THC vape products, digital scales, packaging materials and U.S. currency believed to be tied to illegal drug distribution.
The sheriff’s department identified the two occupants as Catherine Zirkle, 24, and Dylan Revolta, 24, both of the Cabin Drive address in Picayune.
Both were taken to the Pearl River County Criminal Justice Facility and charged with trafficking a controlled substance and possession with intent to distribute a controlled substance, according to the sheriff’s department.
Sheriff David Allison thanked deputies and investigators for their work in combating illegal drug activity in Pearl River County.
