Organized crime squad officers have arrested two people accused of drug trafficking after locating nearly 42 kilograms of marijuana hidden in an apartment, police said.
A police statement said the suspects, who both had previous arrests for alleged drugs offenses, were arrested Friday following a tip-off. Officers also seized cash and precision scales.
Separately, police said they broke a ring that sold marijuana and cannabis from an apartment in the central Athens district of Exarcheia and on the nearby Strefi Hill, arresting four people.
